Battlefield 3 scores 89 out of 100 on Metacritic

Battlefield 3, developed by Dice, has aggregated a combined average score of 89/100 by Metacritic. Metacritic combines reviews from all the different reviewers of a specific game, and combine them into one score in order to see whether the game was a success or not.

Now while most expected a 90+ rated product, 89 is nevertheless far from a failure, and definitely will propel the series further.

Another thing to keep in mind is that websites such as GameShark did give the game a score of 100.
